FINAL PUSH FOR THE JUNE 7TH PRIMARY ELECTION!

With the critical primary election a little over 2 weeks away, the candidates supported by our Reid Hillview PAC are again asking for volunteer help for a few hours to either walk in a neighborhood or make phone calls to voters asking for support. These campaign efforts focus on both the candidate’s qualifications AND on getting voters to complete and return their ballots or to vote on the 7th. Voter turnout in primary elections is typically light, so every vote cast can make a difference.

The Matt Mahan for Mayor campaign is asking for volunteers to commit to help on Saturday morning , June 4th, at their headquarters office at 888 Blossom Hill Rd (Across from Westfield Oakridge Mall), starting at 10 AM. Cindy Chavez has begun running Television commercials, and it is important for pilots to support candidates who support our airport. If you are willing to help at another time, contact the campaign at www.mahanforsanjose.com

Johnny Khamis is running to replace Mike Wasserman for District 1 Supervisor of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, and had repeatedly advocated for keeping Reid Hillview open and protected! Please reach out to the campaign office at his facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/joinjohnny2022 ) or website (www.johnnykhamis.com ) or send an email to johnny@johnnykhamis.com . Pilots should understand that every candidate running against Johnny Khamis has either advocated closure of Reid Hillview or avoided offering public support for keeping the airport open. If Johnny is not successful, our efforts to save Reid Hillview become far more challenging.
